Walked up moel famau with duke of endbriugh reallly enjoyed it brillient expidition the veiw from the top was fanominal, apsolutley stunning. first time i have ever climed a something as high as that and yet I am only 15 years old it was a big achivement for me and i am very proud.

Me and an old m8 had a great walk today from Loggerheads up to the top and back down Offa’s Dyke and round. About 10 miles and feeling the burn in the legs! Great views, haven’t been up there for a bout 20 years since i was a kid. Could not reccomend it more. My friend and i were trying to guess the age of the structure and it’s purpose. We had know idea because there was no information at the top. That is why i have found this web site to find out some info. Was very suprised to learn of it’s history and demise. Many thanks.
